David is born and bred in the Waikato and lives on a Te Awamutu lifestyle block with his wife, Rebecca, a secondary school teacher specialising in Science. They have 4 children, aged 7-14 years, who enjoy everything outdoorsy from horse riding, netball and rugby (especially)! David is a volunteer with junior rugby in Te Awamutu.
